Perfect for both new and experienced landlords, this gourd-style house includes a side closure cap that makes nest inspections and seasonal cleaning incredibly easy. Inside and outside the entrance, you’ll find heavy-duty 4″ x 3″ grooved porches that give martins secure traction for landing, entering, and exiting.
Mounting is simple with the included hardware, and the gourd comes with two center-line hole guides that recommend a 0.375″ space between the porch and the bottom of the entrance hole. However, you’re free to adjust porch placement to suit your setup.
Additional thoughtful features—like the fill line for adding nesting materials—make this gourd convenient for both birds and caretakers. You can also purchase optional owl and hawk guards for extra protection.
